Bay World manufactures custom-made bay and bow frames to accommodate any replacement window, sash insert or direct set insulated glass. Our frames are completed with the installation of your replacement windows into each opening of our bay or bow frame; this can be completed either in your plant or after the the bay or bow window has been installed on the job-site.
Our handcrafted windows are available in a variety of models to best fit your company's needs. All models, except the 3000 Series, feature our exclusive solid wood mullion design.
The solid wood mullion features Timberstrand Laminated Lumber construction, providing superior strength and support. Custom mullion degrees are available on every whole degree, thus enabling designs to coordinate with even the most difficult job-site projection requirements. The solid hardwood interior adds beauty to every bay and bow window.
1000 Series: The "Elite" bay and bow window system in the industry! These extraordinary windows feature a unique solid hardwood construction. The interior of the head and seat are completed with hardwood flooring, available in oak or maple. The unique design enables bay and bow window widths to exceed 144"!
Head and seat are fully insulated with high density feberglass insulation, providing an R-9 insulating value.
2000 Series: Our "Deluxe" bay and bow window system features 1 1/4" hand selected, furniture grade hardwood veneer construction, available in oak or birch woods.
This deluxe line is designed in a "custom format", thus the flanker windows and seat projection increase as the frame width increases. The standard package includes coordinating 3 1/2" colonial style hardwood interior casing and window stops.
5000 Series: Our "Standard" bay and bow window system features the identical construction as the 2000 Series, designed in a standardized format. The flanker windows and seat projection are pre-set and do not vary with the width of the frame.
Both 2000 Series and 5000 Series models are available with an insulated super seat. Insulated seats are available in an R-9 or R-21 insulating value!
3000 Series: The "Protocol" bay and bow window system is designed to your specifications! We manufacture the frames to your specific window profile requirements.
The completed frame includes head, seat and side-jambs, typically complete with threaded steel rod mullions. You finish the assembly by installing your replacement windows and accessory profiles. Frames are available fully assembled or K.D.
Classic Garden Window: Our garden window is truly classic! Cabinet-maker quality construction featuring 1 1/8" furniture grade oak or birch hardwood veneers. The unit comes complete, ready to install! The flankers, center and glass roof feature heavy-duty PVC frames with fusion welded construction.
The contemporary style trapezoid flanker windows provde additional light and maximum ventilation. These premium, steel reinforced, casement style windows feature stainless steel hinges in combination with truth maxim multi point hardware.
These windows are available with 7/8" double-insulated clear, soft coat Low E and Argon Gas (R-4.2) and double Low E and Krypton Gas (R-5.0).
All garden windows have an exterior projection of 18" and custom jamb depths are available at no additional cost.
Windows up to 50" in width are shipped with a 3/16" tempered glass shelf; frames in excess of 50" come standard with a powder coated white wire shelf. Extra shelves are optional. Options include corian seats, pre-insulated seats and totally maintenance free plastic laminate interiors.
